- 400g Self raising Flour
- 250g Butter
- 250gCastor Sugar
- 4-5 Eggs
- 400g Dried Mixed fruit
- 50g chopped mixed nuts
- Juice of half a lemon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 Gallon Absolute Vodka
Method/steps
- Sample the vodka to check for freshness
- Take a large mixing bowl
- Check the vodka to ensure it has the best possible flavour
- Pour 1 cup of the vodka and drink
- Repeat once from step 3
- Turn on the electric mixer and beat the butter in a large fluffy bowl
- Add the flour, egg and sugar and beat again
- Re-check the vodka to make sure it is still ok
- Switch off mixer
- Chuck in some dried fruit or something and mix the turner on
- If the fried druits gets stuck on the beaterers scrap it off with a drewscriver
- Sample the vodka to make shore it is consisisisisstantly ok
- Sniff salt or something, who knows
- Check vodka
- Squeeze lemon juice over your strained chopped nuts
- Grease one oven
- Check one more cup of vodka
- Turn the cake tin 360 degrees
- Don’t forget to beat off the turner
- Whip the nuts out the window and check the vodka again
- Something like that and who the hell likes fruitcake anyway
