A small jugful
2 oz butter
4 oz soft brown sugar
grated zest of one lemon
milk
Method/steps
Melt the butter and sugar together.
Stir in the lemon zest.
Bring to the boil and boil for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add milk until you are happy with the consistency (about 3 tbsps for this quantity).
