Fennel tea

Description A milky tea with added fennel seeds

  • 2 mugs water
  • 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon tealeaves (or 1 teabag)
Method/steps
  1. place the water and fennel in a pan and heat till boiling
  2. put in teabag
  3. simmer for a minute or so
  4. add milk remove from heat when it reaches a boil again
  5. It's supposed to be quite milky.
Additional Tips
My mum uses it as a general purpose tonic, an acquired taste but some of my family love it.
