- 1lb SR Flour
- 1/2 lev tsp salt
- 4oz butter
- 3oz caster sugar
- 1 cooking apple, peeled and chopped
- grated rind of 1 lemon
- 1/4pt milk
Method/steps
- Rub in fat to flour, add salt and sugar and lemonrind. Mix in apple and add milk to make a soft dough
- Roll out with hands and using a 2inch cutter, cut scones and place on lightly greased baking tray
- Cook at 200C for 15-18 mins
