  • Cumin seeds (optional)
Method/steps
  1. Cook the potatoes in their skin (bake or boil), allow to dry if boiled and then mash with the salt and chilli and some finely chopped coriander, and the cumin.
  2. Shape into patties coat in some plain flour and then egg OR gram (chick pea) flour
  3. Shallow fry gently till golden on both sides, try not to move too much as they're quite fragile.
