- Cumin seeds (optional)
Method/steps
- Cook the potatoes in their skin (bake or boil), allow to dry if boiled and then mash with the salt and chilli and some finely chopped coriander, and the cumin.
- Shape into patties coat in some plain flour and then egg OR gram (chick pea) flour
- Shallow fry gently till golden on both sides, try not to move too much as they're quite fragile.
