  • 2 egg whites
  • 4 ounces caster sugar
  • 2 ounces plain flour sifted
  • 3 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter
Method/steps
  1. Line baking sheets with silicone paper or foil.
  2. Whisk whites until stiff.
  3. Fold in half sugar and whisk again, fold in remaining sugar, then flour and butter.
  4. Drop spoonfuls on to the baking sheets and bake 200°c gas 6 400°f for 2-4 mins until a light brown round the edges.
  5. Remove with a palette knife or fish slice an mould around greased cream horn tins. Slip off when cool.
