Savoury Bread and Butter Pudding

- about half a loaf of sun dried tomato & oregano bread, thickish slices
- a pot of creme fraiche 450 ml
- 2 eggs (in this case 1 med. hen's and 1 duck)
- 1 thinly sliced & fried onion
- olive oil
- seasoning
Method/steps
- Fry the bread in the olive oil, not soaking it but just enough oil to stop it sticking, to brown it a little.
- Layer in a pan or oven-proof dish.
- Mix the eggs and creme fraiche together with seasoning and pour over the bread.
- Bake, uncovered, at about 400°F for approximately 20 mins or until it's as brown as you like it.
