Gluten Free Plum and Apple Crumble

  • For the Crumble
  • 4oz GF flour (used Dove's farm)
  • 2oz Pure spread (the green one)
  • 2oz demerara sugar
  • and for the fruity bit
  • 2 plums - chopped
  • 2 dessert apples - chopped
  • pinch of cinammon (make sure GFWF)
  • smaller pinch of ginger (as above)
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar.
Method/steps
  1. Mix flour and Pure together to make fine crumbs.
  2. Throw in demerara sugar and mix well.
  3. Heat fruit, caster sugar and spices until soft and put into greased dish.
  4. Sprinkle crumble over fruit.
  5. Bake in oven that's around 180°C for about 20 minutes ish. (didn't time this bit exactly, it just "looked" done)
Additional Tips
Try sprinkling over flaked almonds ten minutes before the end of cooking.
