Sweet and sour turnip thing, good with roasts.

- 800g young turnips, peeled and diced
- 1tbsp caster sugar
- 70g butter
- 3tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1tbsp flour
- 250ml hot chicken stock
- S&P
Method/steps
- Melt sugar and butter together in a pan, allow to caramelize a bit.
- Add turnip, stir and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Add vinegar, S&P and flour.
- Stir gently then gradually add the stock.
- Cook until turnip is tender.
