Sweet Mutton Stir Fry

Description Grass fed Kerry Hill mutton is even tender enough to enjoy in a quick stir fry. This sharp, sweet marinade is perfect for those who shy away from spicy foods.

  • For the marinade
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp Wholegrain mustard
  • Half a green pepper, chopped
  • Handful of chopped green beans
  • 200g Egg Noodles
  • A dash of Worcester Sauce
  • 400g Kerry Hill diced mutton, sliced into thin strips
Method/steps
  1. Mix the ingredients for the marinade and marinade the mutton for several hours or overnight.
  2. Place the noodles into a pan of boiling water, stir to avoid sticking & bring back to the boil. Turn off the heat and leave to stand for two minutes before draining and rinsing.
  3. Meanwhile, stir fry the peppers and green beans in a little oil for five minutes.
  4. Add the mutton and marinade to the wok and stir fry for a further five minutes.
  5. Add the noodles and reheat to serve.
