Description
Proper squidgy goo-ey ones. Not nasty crunchy ones.

A fair few.
8oz butter
12oz soft brown sugar
2 generous tbsps golden syrup
13 oz oats
Method/steps
Melt the first three ingredients together over a gentle heat.
Stir in oats.
Spread in baking tin/tray. (About 24cmx32cm)
Cook in a low oven (about 140C) for 30-40 minutes.
Allow to cool a bit then cut up and remove from tray.
Additional Tips
Err on the side of under-cooking rather than over-cooking.
You can add sultanas, chopped dates etc. if you so wish.
