Come and stay at Mullacott Farm

We are in Ilfracombe, on the north Devon Coast, overlooking the Bristol Channel. We farm 30 acres with mixed livestock, and offer various forms of accommodation.

The farm has Dexter cattle, Poll Dorset Sheep, Jacob Sheep, Alpacas, various breeds of chicken and ducks, and pigs.

Swallow Barn Bed and Breakfast

In 2002 we completed a barn conversion, and created 6 letting bedrooms, all en suite, with double and single beds in. They can be used as twin, doubles or family. We also have two rooms with extra beds in and two with connecting doors. All rooms have a colour TV, hospitality trays, clock radio, hairdryer, and full shower en suites. In the morning we serve a farm produced breakfast, as much as we can with home reared and made bacon, home reared sausages, our own free-range eggs, home made bread, with preserves.

Caravan

The caravan overlooks one of the fields that often has livestock in, and is in a quiet area of the farm. It has three bedrooms and sleeps 6 people. There is a fully fitted kitchen, and a comfortable lounge. Bedding and towels are included in the price, as is gas, electric and water.

Camping Barn
One of the old stable blocks has been converted into a Camping Barn, and this can accommodate up to 20 people. There are mattresses on platforms to sleep on, in mixed dorms.

There is a large communal dining area, and a well stocked (equipment) kitchen. Heating, and electrical appliances work on metered electricity. The toilet and shower block are adjacent to the barn.

Camping
We offer camping throughout the summer months, from Easter. We are Camping and Caravanning Club CL registered, and can offer electric hook up, if required. Dogs are allowed, as long as they stay on a lead, and are cleared up after. We have the toilet and shower block as well as an Elsan disposal point.

Sausages and eggs can be bought from the farm. People are allowed to roam freely about our land, and play games in any empty field. The animals are there to be enjoyed but they are not petting animals, although they are very friendly. We would love to see you.
